THE FEDERATED WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

(F.W.C.F.)

The Federated Women's Christian Fellowship formed in 1965, uniting the American Baptist and Presbyterian Women's Groups of The Federated Church of Brookston.

Membership of the F.W.C.F. is 'comprised of all women of our church and local women who promote the purpose through service, gifts, and prayer.'

The purpose of the F.W.C.F. is as follows:

"As women in a common faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, committed to the mission of His church to grow in personal devotion, to demonstrate His love in all areas of life, and to declare our oneness with fellow Christians everywhere. We shall seek to fulfill this purpose by our living, learning, serving, giving, worshiping, and winning through the home, the community, the nation, and world."

The F.W.C.F. is mission-oriented, giving monetarily to local and denominational missions. To support this cause, we hold an annual bazaar and meal on the last Saturday in October.

MARY CIRCLE

The Mary Circle is a group of women of the F.W.C.F. which meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m .. We hold a Special Bible Study during the winter and spring. During the summer and early fall we work on crafts and plan for our Fall Bazaar. We also have refreshments, hold a brief meeting, and share great fellowship!
